Sunday, March 27th, 4:00 pm

“On Sunday, March 27th at 4:00 p.m., Gold Canyon UMC will be hosting a special concert event featuring Dave and Daphne, a fabulous country duo from Nashville, TN. Dave Salyer is a professional guitarist who has toured the world with Barbara Mandrell, performed at the White House, and appeared on countless television shows. Mandrell has stated that “Dave Salyer is the best guitarist I’ve ever had.”  Currently, Dave performs show dates at The Grand Ole Opry and his solo repertoire ranges from “Orange Blossom Special” to “The William Tell Overture”. He is also an accomplished vocalist, songwriter and humorist! Not to be outdone, Daphne Anderson is a stunning vocalist with a powerful voice who has toured with some of the greatest Southern Gospel Music Groups of all time including The Bill Gaither Group, The Florida Boys, Rex Nelon, The Hinsons, and many others.  The Southern Gospel Music Association voted her their Female Vocalist of the Year! Daphne is best described as a cross between Shania Twain and Patsy Cline and crowds love her. Her recently recorded CD “One Of These Days” has been met with rave reviews across the U.S. and Canada.  She has an incredible range from music of country legends to pop, to the best of gospel, and that’s just scratching the surface. Come and hear these two for yourselves. As always, all GCUMC hosted events are free admission and we will receive a free-will offering to support the artists.”
