The Performing Arts Series of Gold Canyon United Methodist Church is again presenting the incredible tenor, George Dyer at the church on Friday night, January 12 at 7:30 pm.  His program will feature a wide variety of music from Broadway to pop, classical to sacred, even some opera!  George can sing it all!

George first hit the operatic scene in 1996 with his professional debut at the New York City Opera, where he received rave reviews for his performance.  He has since appeared throughout the world as a soloist in concert with numerous symphony orchestras and several opera companies.

He now spends most of his time singing in Branson, MO at the Dutton Family Theater.  He has received the Branson Singer of the Year and many, many other awards for his outstanding shows.  Doug Benton, our Director of Music Ministries says, “George is the real deal!  His voice is truly amazing with a range that seems to have no boundaries!  His programs always includes music for everyone!  I promise that everyone will leave his concert with a smile and a feeling that ’he was singing to me’”!  George has been described as one of the greatest tenors, living or dead!  He can sing incredibly high and it just sounds effortless.  The ladies always enjoy his considerable good looks, in addition to his great voice!

This concert is open to the public at no charge as an offering will be received.  Everyone is asked to please bring at least on non-perishable food item per person for the Gold Canyon UMC Food Bank.  Come early as the church fills up quickly!  Doors will open 45 minutes prior to the concert.
