So often we miss the sacred space afforded us between us and another person or us and God. Fred Rogers embraced those moments using them to bless and affirm his viewers. As we look at Jesus’ life, time spent with everyone was considered sacred.
Some friends play at friendship, but a true friend sticks closer than one’s nearest kin” This week we will not only explore what true friendship looks like with others, but more importantly with Jesus Christ.
As Easter people we are called to dance our dances of freedom for all the world to see – even and perhaps especially in times of great difficulty. Dances of hope. Dances of justice. Dances of love. During this post-resurrection season let us recapture the joy of living in the beloved community and extending that fellowship through our witness to the world as we dare to dance again.
