The SoSco Duo, is a unique pairing of flute and guitar coming out of Phoenix, in virtual concert. Alex and Laura perform a great variety of music with everything from Irish genres to Jazz and
Classical. Alex Mack performs on guitar primarily for SoSco, but also specializes in voice and other instruments. Laura Strickland is a freelance
flutist with music degrees from Northwestern University and Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music and with doctoral studies at the
University of Maryland and University of Illinois. You can either stream the concert at 3pm or watch whenever is convenient for you from our
website or Facebook. As always, GCUMC-hosted concerts are free, but we will be receiving a free-will offering if you’re inclined to help out.
