For the first time in three years, the GCUMC Performing Arts Series will be hosting the world famous Legacy Quartet on Sunday, February 5th at 2:00 p.m. As many of you know, Legacy began as a Southern Gospel quartet and have since expanded their repertoire, becoming much more. Previous concert-goers can’t say enough about Legacy, exclaiming that they ‘sing the song’ and ‘walk the walk.’ They are a perennial favorite here in Gold Canyon. Bring your family, friends, and neighbors to see and hear this incredible group. Legacy will also be singing at our three morning services, including the special arrangement by Joel Raney of How Great Thou Art, commissioned for the 25th anniversary of our church. This piece combines the Legacy Quartet with the Chancel Choir, the Sonoran Brass, and the Canyon Carillon. It is one of the congregation’s top favorites. Don’t miss out on February 5th!
As always, all GCUMC Performing Arts Series concerts are free admission and handicap accessible. We will be receiving a free-will offering to support both the series and the artists; your generosity is always appreciated. And don’t forget, if you’re able; bring a non-perishable food item for the GCUMC Food Bank.
