On Sunday, February 19th at 2:00 p.m., Dr. Ian Classe will be presenting, as part of the Gold Canyon UMC performing arts series, an organ concert entitled “A Celebration of Hymnody”. Most of the music on the program will be based on hymns and hymn tunes that the church uses throughout the liturgical year, written by composers from the 17th through 21st centuries. Part of the “celebration”, will include singing along to some of the hymns in the program, so be sure to bring your singing voice!
As always, all GCUMC Performing Arts Series concerts are free admission and handicap accessible. We will be receiving a free-will offering to support the Pipe Organ Project.” And don’t forget, if you’re able; bring a non-perishable food item for the GCUMC Food Bank.
